How do you usually interact with Tux Paint? A mouse and a dingy Wacom CTH-480 I got for free from a friend. It's really reminiscent of Kid Pix which I recall using as a kid. I really enjoy the old and a bit janky UI with SFX from all the brushes. I remember hearing around Tux Paint somewhere and hence I looked for it and gave it a try. Admittedly I discovered it fairly recently (around 2022) when I was dissatisfied with how the UI of MSpaint in Windows 11 had been scrubbed down and modernized when I felt it was fine and not needing any change.

Where can people find you online? I have a main twitter of though it's a mix of personal projects and art and whatever else I feel like posting. What are your other hobbies? Gaming and Science.

The only other programs I have would be Blender, Fusion 360, Inkscape, and GIMP.About Ket How old are you? A young adult (around there at time of writing) Do you have other artistic endeavors? A bit of composing music and writing. Ease of use is probably more important than anything else, as is very low cost to buy, or preferably free. Anyway, I downloaded a free trial of Clip Studio Paint try try out, but was wondering if there were other digital art programs that would be easy to learn and would encourage me to work on the sketching to hone those rusty chops. I have some experience with drawing/painting/sculpture, but all working in physical media and all more than 25-30 years rusty at this point. I'm still learning my way around all of those programs, however I liked the idea of having an actual drawing tablet where you're physically drawing with the pen on the display screen. Originally I'd bought that Wacom to help me do more sculpting work in Blender as well as programs like Fusion 360 and Meshmixer.

I have ZERO experience in digital art of any kind and though I have a Wacom Intuos (one of the small "cheap" ones), I never really used it because the disconnect between drawing on a little pad and watching it on my monitor just never clicked with me. Anyway, I figured the Kamvas 20 would be adequate for my needs. I just purchased a Kamvas 20 after a sculptor/illustrator I follow on FB/Instagram had mentioned how he bought and was really enjoying the Kamvas 20 Pro.
